In August, the new version of ATENA (ver. 3.3.2) has been released. It includes numerous improvements and corrections of existing problems. The main modifications are:

ATENA User Seminar on October 3-5, 2007

ATENA Advanced User Seminar is taking place in Prague, Czech Republic on October 3-5, 2007. The seminar is targeted for advanced ATENA users, who want to learn more about the theoretical background of ATENA and its advanced application areas such as ATENA 3D, GID-preprocessing, creep analysis, thermal or fire analyses. The seminar follows right after the regular course organized by Prof. Jirasek about Modeling of Localized Inelastic Deformations (September 24-28, 2007). Participants are encouraged to attend this course prior to the ATENA seminar; however, it is not a necessary prerequisite. It is recommended to register as soon as possible as the number of participants is limited. Conference on Sustainable Bridges on October, 10-11, 2007

Our company participated in a Europen research project Sustainable bridges . The results of this project will be summarized at the international conference in Wroclow in October 10-11, 2007 . The conference is of great interest to bridge owners all over the world. It will cover all latest developments in modern assessment and maintenance techniques. In this respect we have provided a public version of a paper dealing with modern assessment approaches based on nonlinear analysis: Safety Formats for Nonlinear Analysis, which is available on our website.
