In August, the new version of ATENA (ver. 3.3.2) has been released. It includes numerous improvements and corrections of existing problems. The main modifications are:
- ATENA runs in Windows Vista
- Faster solution for shell elements or models with many reinforcing bars.
- Small fixes and improvements in 3D GUE (color scale, editting reinforcement area, AllLayers option available for all result dimensions, copying shell macroelements keeps more parameter settings, negative crack openings not displayed etc.)
- Atena 3D Postprocessor can now display bond slips
- Fixed a problem that interfaces were deleted or not created when a macroelement was added/copied or deleted in Atena 3D; with old data, application of the corrected contact checking agorithm has to be triggered by adding and deleting a macroelement ,
- Updated Atena GiD scripts, see GiDProblemtypesAtenaV3Readme.txt
ATENA users with valid maintenance license will receive a free upgrade in comming weeks. If you are interested to upgrade to this new version contact our distributors for a price offer.

The seminar is targeted for advanced ATENA users, who want to learn more about the theoretical background of ATENA and its advanced application areas such as ATENA 3D, GID-preprocessing, creep analysis, thermal or fire analyses. The seminar follows right after the regular course organized by Prof. Jirasek about Modeling of Localized Inelastic Deformations (September 24-28, 2007). Participants are encouraged to attend this course prior to the ATENA seminar; however, it is not a necessary prerequisite. It is recommended to register as soon as possible as the number of participants is limited. Please, register by email by filling in the form below and please send it by email to the address cervenka (at) cervenka (dot) cz.
