Dear users of ATENA software, we are very happy to inform you about the new release of ATENA version 5.4!
Today, we offer all users with valid maintenance interested in testing our pre-release to download ATENA 5.4.0h. We expect this version to be especially interesting for user who want to try the new features, above all injected cables and 2D shells + 1D beams.
The issue of needing to manually invoke the Utilities-Renumber command after generating the mesh for 2D models (otherwise, there is an error message when writing the ATENA Input File) has been fixed in GiD 13.1.2d.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to be spent the way you like.
We have had some problem with our web space and are currently re-uploading the ATENA installers. It is expected to take a few days to fully restore it - we appologize for the inconveniece.
Latest version of ATENA software is available in DOWNLOADS section right now!
Overview of new ATENA version 5.3. - Modeling contact problems in ATENA. - Modeling strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. - Modeling of construction process in ATENA for bridges and tunnels. - Modeling of fiber-reinforced concrete structures.
One advantage using ATENA for the finite element analyses is that it calculates all material properties based on the cube strength with equations from Model Code 2010. Another great advantage with this program is that it is specially designed for concrete, which makes it easier for the user since good default values are given. The main advantage is that, even though the analyses described severe cracking, the program never had problems finding aconvergent solution. A novice user can rather easy create advanced models in ATENA.

Červenka Consulting is the winner of the contest among 66 participants from several continents. University of Toronto team headed by Michael Collins and Evan Bentz was engaged at an experiment investigation of a large slab elements. With dimensions of the specimen, 4m deep and 21m span, it is the largest shear test ever done.
Zdeněk P. Bažant is the only engineer among 10 foreign members out of 47 fellows elected this year to the Royal Society of London. One of just a few top-cited researchers in his field, Bažant is best known for his discovery of the scaling law for the energetic size effect in quasibrittle structural failure. He is also the author of the microplane material model suitable for modeling brittle materials such as concrete. The versions M4 and M7 of this unique material model are also available in ATENA software.
Dear users of ATENA software, next seminar is planned to June 10-12, 2015.
Dear friends of ATENA software, we would like to inform you that we have just released a brand new ATENA version 5.0.3i., including the latest enhancements and features that meet our customers' needs and contribute to ATENA user friendliness and comfort. We consider our latest ATENA version as another step forward in comparison with the former ATENA releases. Moreover, we are intensively working on other versions to come to light later on.
Engineers are missing suitable safety formats and guidelines for the application of nonlinear simulation for design of reinforced concrete structures. We want to change this. Vladimir Cervenka, therefore, played a key role in formulating these concepts in the new fib Model Code 2010, and presented the new guidelines at the IPW conference which took place in Brno, Czech Republic on November 6-8, 2013.
Dear friends of ATENA software, we are very pleased to announce the release of new ATENA version 5. This version is our next step in our continuous effort to bring to your desk the latest achievements in nonlinear modelling of reinforced concrete structures. Our main emphasis is on the continuous development of our advanced ATENA Science product, which supports static, creep, dynamic, thermal and moisture transport analyses.
